The name
Our name joins two Arabic ideas. Nur means light. Wara means restraint: the discipline to leave what is doubtful alone. Clear sight about what a business is, and the patience not to act on everything we see.
What we believe
A good business should be able to outlive the people who built it.
Most capital is too impatient to be a good custodian of one.
Ownership is a responsibility to be kept, not a transaction to be closed.
The best thing we can usually do with a good business is very little.
